Project Manager of HIPPY Program in French

Cynthia earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Child Development and Parenting support from the University of Paris 5. As a certified Early Childhood Educator with over 12 years of experience teaching young children, Cynthia brings valuable expertise to the HIPPY program. She joined Mothers Matter Center in January 2022 to coordinate the implementation of the HIPPY program in the French communities in the Prairies.

Working in different capacities, from preschool teacher to daycare director, helped Cynthia develop her skills in curriculum design, andragogy, and leadership. In addition, she teaches and creates content for College Educacentre, where she mentors students in Early Childhood Education.

Passionate about Human rights and advocacy, she wants to amplify children’s voices. This fall, she will begin her master’s in Childhood Studies and Children’s Rights (MACR) at the University of Potsdam in Germany.

One thing that matters to Cynthia is raising her three children with cultural awareness and sensitivity towards diversity. That is why, in her spare time, she likes to travel and discover new countries with her family.
