Ms. Bélanger is currently the President of KatiCorp Inc. focused on strategic advice and consulting. She is a retired Public Service Executive with expertise in policy development, strategic planning and strategic communications. During her public service career, she worked at the Canadian Coast Guard, at the National Capital Commission, at Treasury Board and at Correctional Service Canada. She has been a panellist, presenter and guest speaker at several National and international conferences.
As a volunteer, she has a long history of community engagement and supporting various non-profit and charitable organizations. She is Co-chair of the 2018 REACH Gala in Ottawa supporting legal aid for disabled persons, is the Honorary President of the 2018 Gala to support Le Centre Psychosocial in Ottawa that offers mental health and therapeutic services in French to children, teenagers and their families, she is Director and Treasurer of the Canadiana Foundation, which seeks out donations to the Crown Collection of Canadian art and furnishings placed at Canada’s Official Residences for the Governor General, the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Official Opposition in The House of Commons, she is a Board Member of the Canada Hungary Educational Foundation and she is the ‘Marraine‘ (Patron) of a French public elementary school in Ottawa named after her late husband the Hon. Mauril Bélanger.
