Adam Sweet works with KPMG Canada in their Global Infrastructure Advisory practice. Over the course of his career, Adam has developed a record of strong results in public, private, and non-profit sectors, across all three orders of government. As the former Chief of Staff to the 1,100-person Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC), Adam was responsible for driving strategic initiatives across the municipal-owned agency, serving as advisor and coach to staff, and leading a team responsible for economic strategy design and execution, public policy development, and external relations.
A bilingual leader, Adam has held multiple roles for various MPs and Ministers on Parliament Hill, worked in Canada’s Embassy in Washington, D.C., and served nearly two years in Afghanistan deployed with the Canadian Government.
Recognized in 2017 with a University of Alberta Alumni Horizon Award, and in 2014 as one of Edmonton’s Top 40 under 40, Adam is a recipient of both the Canadian General and Operational Service Medals.
Born and raised in rural Alberta, Adam and his unstoppable wife Katherine spend all their free time exploring Edmonton and the Rocky Mountains with their young son, Jack.
